These hand-typed fragments were gathered by the train tracks at night over 10 years in Melbourne, Australia, while I tried to make sense of a strange world that insisted it was 'normal'. You're Going To Be Ok, contains little fragments of collected wisdom that sit somewhere between poetry, comedy and aphorism... on art, jobs, magic and muddling through.

You’re Going To Be OK

Darby has a way of weaving a silver lining out of the existential facts of life. He lays it out as it is, but comes up with solutions to life’s (more often than not) bleak reality and offers a different perspective that allows for that bleak reality to exist without making us (the people who live in that reality) sink in the mud of it so deep that we can no longer walk. Darby has (it seems) gone through the thick of it and has come out the other side with inspiration, wisdom, humour - and messages of kindness, honesty and reconciliation for the reality of human existence. 10/10 work of art - Brittany James, Ontario, Canada

YOU SHOULD READ THIS BOOK

Most compact collection of wisdom brilliantly written. Truthful and naked insight on life and society makes this book extremely relatable. Darby's mantra rubs your soul in the best possible way. Well I could go on and on but just buy his book and read it for yourself.

This book is a wonderfully unique piece of art. I’m so happy I came across Darby Hudson’s work - I’ve found life is more colorful with his brilliant perspective as part of it.
